Description:

LTIMindtree is hiring a Specialist Cloud Engineering professional in Pune to serve as a Lead Automation Engineer for its software-defined data center (SDDC) frameworks. This role shifts completely away from manual infrastructure configuration, focusing entirely on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) architectures and software-defined private cloud operations. You will design, build, and deploy self-healing, automated orchestration workflows that control bare-metal ESXi hosts, manage virtual server clusters, and track structural platform states. The daily scope balances writing programmatic infrastructure playbooks, managing critical environment lifecycle patching pipelines, verifying backend software dependencies, and integrating virtualization tasks directly into modern continuous deployment routines.

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of professional, hands-on infrastructure automation, DevOps engineering, or Cloud operations experience running high-availability compute environments.
• At least 7 years of dedicated engineering history working with core VMware vSphere engine (ESXi hypervisors, vCenter nodes, cluster arrays) and the comprehensive VMware Aria Suite management layer.
• Documented architecture and administration mastery over specialized Aria tools: orchestration workflows via Aria Orchestrator (vRO), catalog blueprint blueprints inside Aria Automation (vRA), baseline system monitoring metrics through Aria Operations (vROps), and log profiling analysis with Aria Operations for Logs.
• Advanced structural development depth using Ansible to script state configurations, spin up virtual machines, and establish repeatable deployment patterns across virtualized platforms.
• Expert scripting capabilities to automate complex endpoint tasks utilizing PowerShell / VMware PowerCLI, Python, Bash shell scripting, or Groovy script injections.
• Proven experience building automated job arrays to handle core product patching, manage pre-upgrade health validation dependencies, control state data snapshot generation, and complete post-upgrade configuration audits across development, staging, and production environments.
• High proficiency implementing Jenkins automation workflows to orchestrate continuous deployment loops, managing assets across Git repositories (GitLab/GitHub), and querying structured REST APIs.
• Prior background hooking automated cloud provisioning pipelines directly into enterprise change management systems like ServiceNow for automated service ticket approvals.
• Exceptional capacity to debug complicated orchestration logic failures, mitigate severe infrastructure resource contentions, analyze pipeline errors, and maintain system uptime guidelines.
• High commitment to detailing execution runbooks, architecture flows, and knowledge transfer briefs to ensure operational repeatability across global teams.
